I shamelessly love this series that more or less amounts to a spicy soap opera starring the Greek gods in a modern, corporate world. I mean, how can you not? A refreshingly modern and surprisingly poignant take on the Hades and Persephone myth . . . steamy, often laugh-out-loud funny, and emotional."-Jennifer L. Armentrout, #1 New York Times bestselling author of From Blood and Ash MacDonald, Heidi (January 17, 2020). "Sales Charts: The Top 30 comics on Webtoon in 2019". The Beat . Poseidon is the King and god of the sea and the younger brother of Hades and the older brother for Zeus. He is the brother-in-law of Persephone, Hera, and Thetis. He is shown to be an carefree, free-spirited, impulsive, muscular green man with long curly hair and a long scar across his left eye. Despite his dimwitted demeanor, he has his moments of wisdom. Poseidon also has a deep love and respect for both of his brothers. He is a member of the six traitors dynasty. He and his wife, Amphitrite, are happily in a polyamorous relationship.

lastly, i feel like this fourth installment had a lot of extra greek mythos jokes and i really was obsessed (zeus swan and all). oh, and i still cant believe that hecate is my favorite of all the gods, but here we are. a b Adams, Tim (January 20, 2020). "Webtoon Announces Over 100 Billion Views in 2019, Lore Olympus Ranks #1". Comic Book Resources . Retrieved August 20, 2020. The mutual pinning in the book is off the rails. I love Hades and Persephone’s relationship and I’m just waiting for those to wake up and realize that they are meant to be. It’s frustrating, but a good frustrating. It’ll be worth it in the end. Persephone, young goddess of spring, is new to Olympus. Her mother, Demeter, has raised her in the mortal realm, but after Persephone promises to train as a sacred virgin, she's allowed to live in the fast-moving, glamorous world of the gods. Then again, I assumed they (THEY?) just looked for something with a pastel cover and clapped their hands in joy. I don't personally get the hype, but I can see why this was successful as a webtoon.

Success!

All of Olympus—and the Underworld—are talking about the God of the Dead and the sprightly daughter of Demeter. But despite the rumors of their romance, Hades and Persephone have plenty to navigate on their own. Athena is the goddess of wisdom and warfare. She is depicted as a silver woman with short silver hair. She is a member of TGOEM, but she reveals to Artemis she is in a relationship with Hestia. But of course, they can't be together because Persephone is supposed to be a candidate for the goddesses of eternal maidenhood.

Lore Olympus is a modern spin on the original tale of Hades kidnapping Persephone to be his wife (doesn't happen like that in this version obviously, it's 2021 people). In this retelling, Persephone is a college student, studying at a university in Olympus. She grew up living a rather sheltered life with an overprotective mother (Demeter), who has only allowed her to come to the city because she's on a scholarship from the Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood, meaning she has to remain a sacred virgin. Persephone is staying with Artemis, one of the members of the organization. Again, this may be due to the fact that this has been miscategorized as something someone who enjoys regular comics would want to read. Lore Olympus is my favorite graphic novel— ever. I have read and reread this brilliantly crafted work of art and cannot get enough of this story. Even though the legend of Hades and Persephone is thousands of years old, you will fall in love with these characters in a whole new way—and you’ll never see the twists and turns coming!” —Beth Revis, New York Times bestselling author of Across the UniverseIt's easy to see why the internet has fallen in love with Lore Olympus. This dazzling interpretation of the classic Greek myths is as charming as it is provocative.' Marissa Meyer, No1 New York Times bestselling author of The Lunar Chronicles Witness what the gods do after dark in the fourth volume of a stylish and contemporary reimagining of one of the best-known stories in Greek mythology, featuring a brand-new, exclusive short story from creator Rachel Smythe. Rengeteg olyan rész volt, amit szívem szerint kiemelnék és elemezném őket, amíg meg nem unom, de nem szeretném az időt húzni, és leginkább csak ismételném önmagam.
